MY CAREER JOURNEY

In my lifetime, I have successfully completed three different career transitions.

I grew up as a government "brat" and spent 22 years as a military spouse living and working across the globe.

I began my career in executive administrative and operational roles with government agencies in health and human services, sports and recreation, and engineering services.

I then transitioned into the private sector working with commercial interior design and office solutions companies before joining the founder of The Advantage as an operations manager. As the business grew, I added responsibility as an executive resume writer.

When the founder, a serial entrepreneur, wanted to pursue other ventures, I completed a management buyout, and started my final career transition as a business owner. Over the past 25+ years, I adapted my business model and services to include a variety of writing, coaching and job search support to best serve my clients in an ever-changing marketplace.

While my career journey was unique, the common theme in each transition was my agility in taking on new challenges. In each role, I was creative in identifying and solving problems, discerning real wants and needs of clients, building strong relationships, and providing exceptional service.
